You’re an expert in building brands that impact culture, drive business and create emotional resonance with consumers. You provide deep insight, and sparks of inspiration. You’re one-part brand strategist, one-part creative strategist who specializes in partnering with creatives to create unexpected work that has an out sized impact in the market.


  • Lead strategist in the development (with the client) of long-range brand planning and annual marketing plans
  • Uncovers opportunities to maximize current marketing plans, engage customers in new ways, and increase customer loyalty through integrated communications solution
  • Has an ambition for the brands we lead, a plan for how to achieve them and proven ability to bring other along on the journey
  • Builds and leverages client trust to help take business-appropriate risks and knows where any given assignment fits into overall strategy
  • Accountable for positively contributing to the overall health of the Client/Agency partnership; know the inner workings of the Client’s business and have direct contact up to CMO level
  • Encourages the exploration of innovative ideas, including non-traditional media options
  • Designs, conducts, and analyzes research with customer insight mining prowess
  • Explores new ways to understand how effective we are, from forming KPIs to working with clients on research and testing approaches


  • 10-15 years of Account Planning or Strategy in an agency setting: QSR experience required
  • Has proven examples of idea generation that created winning brand strategies. Is able to employ both imagination and rigor to take an idea from good to inspiring
  • Stays engaged in the crafting and selling of ideas, always finding ways to make the work better and to have more impact
  • Has the proven ability to create consensus and strategic direction from multiple opinions
  • Exhibits intense curiosity about human nature and the world we live in. Is observant, open-minded and receptive to new experiences from which he/she can learn
  • Pushes for action and results, and wins the support and help of others
  • Capable with data, not just their synthesizer into actionable insights but recognizing when it’s needed to make strategic decisions
  • Works to keep simplicity and focus over time – always with an eye toward creative output
  • Capable at leading pitches as well as provide support on new business
  • Reports to the Director of Strategy
