The Social Team is one of the fastest-growing teams at the agency. Part think tank, part creative production, the team is looked to by peers and clients to be the eyes, ears, and hands within the social media landscape. How will you know if you’re a fit? You’ll know you’re a fit if you love advertising and love social media. You know what has been trending on TikTok but also know how that differs from what is trending on Twitter. You’ll love to create and build and be part of pop and digital culture. You have that can-do spirit, love to collaborate with a team, and exercise the principles of Radical Candor to get the job done.

Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media, the ideal Content Creator – TikTok will be dedicated to strategizing, creating, and moderating TikTok accounts on behalf of our clients and their brands. You love the platform and understand the nuances of short-form video. You get a charge when new features are added or when new songs are trending.

What will you be working on?

– Social Video Strategy (20%) – you’ll have the knack to look at brand strategy and guidelines and apply them to specific platforms and content. You’ll connect the dots between objectives and translate them to vertical videos. You’ll contribute to team ideation sessions about taking concepts and concepts into social-first content ideas and series.

– Content Development and Production (35%) – you’ll have a hand in collaborating with the broader team to make content. You’ll be looked to for creating quick and snack-able content. You’ll love creating and editing videos (sometimes on the fly!) that engage and builds community and advocates.

– Community Management and Engagement (35%) – you feel confident reaching out to people on the platform. You love engaging with others, commenting, liking, and being an active voice. You see the potential of influencers before they become too selective.

– Analytics & Reporting (10%) – you’ll contribute to reporting and showing how your efforts are adding to the bigger picture. You’ll be fluent enough to occasionally interpret insight from data.

Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, or Journalism.
  • Ability to use video editing apps and software.
  • Familiarity with social media dashboards and publishers (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social).
  • 2-4 years’ work experience, whether at an agency or working in-house at a brand.
