When it comes to buying pet food and supplies, you likely have two options, PetCO or PetSmart. The thing is, to most people they are almost identical. Same warehouse experience, same promotional messaging, and same overall offering. Even their logos look the same. Our challenge was to help create a way to stand apart and become less transactional and more relational. So, we developed an emotionally powerful campaign that leveraged their one true point of difference:  their name. Specifically, the letters ‘CO,’ which is as it so happens, are the same two letters that make up a prefix that means “together.”
